Didn't realize you were a local oppo as well.

Where are you out of? I'm over in Rochester.

And I'm gonna see what they will do about the price, I got 5 grand off a car at Manchester Ford across from the mall.

The only issue I see is that the warranty is almost up with only about 6,800 miles left, and it seems like it has lots of things that could go wrong. With an extended warranty included, I'd jump on it.

I'm out here in Manchester. Autofair is a good place, buddy of mine works at their honda store on the same street as ford.

I would hold out. There are some 2013 show/demo models with double digit miles going for about 4 grand more (I've seen them up here in Canada and down in the states). They want to clear stock for the new model.

The R-spec 5.0 was already mentioned once... I test drove one for shits and giggles, with the bar set pretty low (really wasn't expecting much)...

Holy shit.

That thing was an M5 killer, for half the price. Went like stink, was incredibly comfortable, had all the modern tech and toys, sounded great under full accel, and my god did it hoon.

If the 4.6 has all the same goodies on the interior, it'd definitely hold its own against a regular 5er. Definitely a good car, that.

The 4.6 makes almost 400HP, and looks to have all the comforts...

Oh damn, didn't realize the 4.6 made that much. Honestly, can't fault it for anything then. It's a poor man's 5er, but has all the comforts and tech, and you're only really sacrificing brand image (and possibly increasing reliability).

I can be of so much help here! My grandmother has a 2009 in the same color and powertrain combo. I picked it out for her and have driven it a ton.

Really great underrated car. Rather quick, very comfy. Looks quite good, especially with the wing package (no Hyundai markings anywhere)... Navi system sucks! Bought granny a Garmin since the built in sucks. The auto transmission is decent... really slow when put in tiptronic.

RWD makes it a little hairy in the snow, you can drift it a lot more than you'd ever expect.

Very cheap to maintain though. Lots of shared parts.

However, some interior bits do feel like they belong in the cheaper Hyundai.

For the price, you cannot beat it. The on;y issue she has had (50,000 miles on it now) was a small leak in the rear differential. Everything else was perfect.

I really do recommend it if you need a very comfy quiet cruiser .

Any specific questions? Ill do my best to answer and can get answers right from grandma since she is staying with us for the week!

Gas mileage.

is it really quiet on the highway?

Any quirks?

How is the stereo?

I just need something 4 doors, decent, reliable, and larger than what I have now.

It is stupid quiet going down the highway... like Mercedes E class/Audi A6 territory.

The only real quirk I can think of is the parking sensors sometimes act dumb and beep when they aren't needed. That and the Bluetooth can sometimes disconnect for no reason (but being an 09, and the first year, it may be fixed by 10)

If it has the 17 speaker Lexicon (which it should by reading the ad) is amazing! Really deep bass and really clean sounds. Even balance throughout the car and listing to talk radio also sounds really clear. it is one of the best systems you can have in a car like it.

I may have to call them and see about looking at this car in person.

I'm leery of the warranty being up soon..

And the gas mileage is actually quite good. It can be run only on regular, so big plus there! She gets about 19 city 26 highway.. but she is a grandma so...

If you do want it, you will need to contact Hyundai ASAP.. they can give you all the details on the warranty just by the vin... hell you could do that now since the ad has it.

These are covered by the 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty! So thats a big plus and they are good about transferring
